AGENCY SERVICES
We provide Healthcare Professionals
including Healthcare Assistants, RGNs, RMNs and Support Workers
Registered Nurses
We have Registered Nurses available to work in the Dorset and Hampshire area, at short notice. All our nurses are personally interviewed at our nearest offices. We will also arrange for one of our Registered Nurses to phone you at a convenient time.
This clinical discussion enables us to check your professional experience and will ensure that we find the right placement for you. Nurse credentials are evidenced via the NMC employee checking service. Two positive clinical references are required in addition to the DBS.
Support Workers
All support workers, regardless of experience, receive a comprehensive induction course which is bespoke to their role and previous experience of care provision.
We work closely with a number of local care homes who support our less experienced staff by permitting them to “job shadow” and gain valuable experience.
Mandatory Training
Registered Nurses and support workers receive mandatory training which includes training in Safeguarding of adults and children, infection control, COSHH, moving and handling, emergency first aid awareness, basic food safety awareness, mental capacity and DoLs, understanding dignity, consent and respect.
All our candidates have - An Enhanced DBS check, Written references from last two employers, A full employment history check (with all gaps explained), Work permit status confirmed, Verified Qualifications and Training Certificate.
Housekeeping
We have cooks, assistant cooks, kitchen assistants and housekeepers. Our kitchen staff all have an enhanced DBS check and CIEH level 2 in Food Hygiene. They have a strong understanding of good nutritional care for vulnerable adults and children.
Our agency cooks are experienced in preparing meals for up to 70 residents: they are able to provide a selection of two or three main choices and can cater for specific dietary requirements, such as low fat, low sugar, fortification and pureed meals.
Our assistant agency cooks and kitchen assistants are trained in supporting the kitchen team as necessary within care homes. They are extremely aware of the additional care required during service, in order to meet the individual needs of service users.
Housekeepers can be supplied to the care environment or to individuals in their own home.
Our housekeeping team all undertake DBS and provide two positive references. The agency housekeeping team attend regular training in health and safety, infection control, COSHH, moving and handling (of equipment) and safeguarding of vulnerable adults and children.
Individual housekeeping provision (i.e. in one’s own home) is subject to spot checks by the quality assurance team.
Temporary and permanent Industrial contracts are undertaken.
